Description
NO MODS REQUIRED! This ship uses one optional subgrid (a piston) and runs only one optional script. Only the Heavy Industry and Sparks of the Future DLCs are used for key elements of the design, and it can be rebuilt using vanilla blocks in place of the DLC. Several blocks are from the other packs, but all these are purely aesthetic and this craft will work just as well without them.

Designed with long-duration scouting trips in mind, the Medium Scout Vehicle (MSV) is fairly well-armored for its size; two turreted autocannons and two turreted gatlings allow it to defend itself against most other similarly-sized craft. The MSV's interior is cramped but nevertheless provides space for two (a driver and a standing passenger) and is fully pressurized, so that its occupants can quite literally breathe easier. Access to a survival kit is also provided, allowing this vehicle to serve as a light forward base similarly to the LSV. Other adaptations for lengthy recon missions include the addition of increased cargo space, an O2/H2 generator, and a periscope to peer over hills or other terrain features while maintaining a low profile.

Tab 1:
1-Forward camera
2-On/Off toggle for all turrets
3-On/Off toggle for exterior lights
4-On/Off toggle for gyroscopes
5-Auto/Recharge toggle for vehicle batteries
6-On/Off toggle for projector
7-Open/Close parachutes
8-Lock/Unlock toggle for rear connector
9-Lock/Unlock toggle for front magnetic plate

Tab 2:
1-Periscope camera
2-Reverse periscope piston (raises and lowers periscope)
3-Top center forward camera
4-Top left forward camera
5-Top right forward camera
6-Rear camera
7-Close all doors
8-Increase height offset of rear wheels
9-Decrease height offset of rear wheels (these last two are used to help the rear connector align for parking)

Tab 8 has projector translation controls and Tab 9 has projector rotation controls as usual.

Description:
The MSV is another build for that first iteration of GVK/Deserts of Kharak. Its original configuration was a bit less well armed owing to that server's balance and the pre-Warfare 2 state of combat in the game; this version has been updated with new weapons and a less spartan interior. Again, the configuration of wheels was based upon the VME ACR-6, following my longstanding tradition of looking to the wonderful builds of Taidyr when I have no idea what I'm doing. As with most builds from later 2021, it emphasizes non-deformable blocks around sensitive areas (particularly wheels).

i think so, just replace some of the beam stuff on the bottom (make a new bp)
