A pasture for maggots which produce meat and a tiny bit of silk (fabric). Garthimi get a big bonus for farming them, this mod was created to help with their sorely lacking means of food production in V61 (this has been alleviated in 0.61.09 where theyre back to 1.0 animal husbandry skill from 0.2). Their basic output is 1.12 Meat and 0.15 Fabric (for comparison Globdien give 1.25 Meat and 0.62 Eggs).

Garthimi production bonus is 2x, for other races they are worse than other options. Only available in warm and temperate climate. Due to their lower base output they dont scale as well as others with additional bonuses like research and tools so its not like the 2x makes it OP or anything, just better suited for Garthimi and much less so for other races.

For now they work like normal pastures but if the possibility is ever added I will make them work like mushroom farms (inside buildings and ideally caves). Garthimi have a large bonus to production and job fulfillment for these. Not compatible with any mods that change Garthimi but its just two lines in their file that specify the bonus and fulfillment for this room, easy to patch. I'd also love to make other races disgusted by them but that would make it incompatible with any mods that change other vanilla races so I just nerfed them further while increasing Garthimi bonus to make up for it.

If anyone wants to use this mod with another that changes Garthimi like e.g. a complete rebalance mod I can provide a version that doesnt change them, the other author would just need to add

PASTURE_MAG: 1.0,
to work bonus and
PASTURE_MAG: 2.0,
to room bonus

on a compatible version
