Following profit losses in the year 2166, Mountain Dew Intercorp. decided that mere terrestrial factories could not provide enough product to expand their sales. Obviously, the only real option was creating a self-sustaining planet to house, produce, package and ship Mountain Dew. The vast ocean covering the planet is highly acidic- it must be diluted, stabilized and cooled before it can be fit for consumption.

The initial liquid must be gathered by tools constructed with highly durable alloys before being shipped to a chemical plant which will dilute and barrel it. After dilution, it will be sent either to a packaging and shipping plant, hopefully stabilizing on its long interplanetary journey, or excess storage, where it will wait and be tended by work crews.

The small oceanic planet is covered by thick, noxious clouds of vaporized Mountain Dew. This blocks the sun and makes any sort of agriculture for stationed workers impossible. However, some hardy species of crab from another solar system have found this place a nice home after being unintentionally migrated by cargo ships. To stop overpopulation and reduce shipping costs, these crabs are also harvested and processed for workers on Mountain Dew Planet.
