Toggle Chaos Realms

This mod adds a toggle for the Chaos Realms narrative to the campaign settings screen in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer campaigns.

If the toggle is left on, the game will proceed as normal with no changes.

If the toggle is set to off: Ursun will never roar, the rifts will never open, and you can enjoy a sandbox Total War experience.

The toggle setting is saved into your save file. This means you can freely switch between saves with the Realms on and off without worrying about swapping out files or causing bugs.

This mod should be fully functional in multiplayer. The toggle button will appear in the multiplayer lobby settings (only for the host, nobody else can see it). However, this has not been extensively tested, so feedback on how it functions in multiplayer is appreciated.

This mod should be compatible with all other mods provided they don’t also overwrite the rifts mechanic. Just use common sense with this one. If it's a big mod and it doesn't work, they probably overwrite the rifts mechanic.

This mod has settings available in Vandy's Mod Configuration Tool.

The Mod Configuration Tool allows for toggling the Realms on and off during an ongoing campaign, as well as at the start. Please keep in mind that:
- After changing this setting in an ongoing campaign, the game will automatically save and quit. When you load the save again, the setting will have changed.
- Turning off the Narrative when the rifts are open or when your Lord is inside of the Realms of Chaos will likely result in bugs.
- In general, Realms were not intended to be turned on and off, so don't be surprised if you encounter bugs or stability issues if you chose to do that.
