Q: Can this be used to unlock the achievement for winning a multiplayer match, The Most Dangerous Game, which can no longer be unlocked via normal means on Windows, since the multiplayer has been disabled?
A: Yes, all achievements are unlocked.

Q: Can you make a mod that will unlock just that achievement?
A: Somebody can. I will not.

Q: Can you make a vanilla version of this mod?
A: Somebody can. I will not.

Q: I've unlocked achievements using this mod, and now I'm plagued by remorse, can I reset my cheated achievements and unlock them for real?
A: Yes, use Steam Achievement Manager to reset achievements for XCOM 2.

Q: Will I get banned or suffer other negative consequences for using this mod?
A: Highly unlikely, but ultimately the risk and consequences are yours to deal with.

Q: Why did you make this mod? Doesn't it devalue the achievements of people who unlocked them via hard work?
A: Somebody would've made a mod like this sooner or later, it takes only two lines of code to unlock all achievements. Or a few hours to cheat them through console commands.

Part of the reason is I wanted to help out people who no longer could unlock the multiplayer achievement since multiplayer has been disabled on Windows on 28th of March, 2022.

Consider that a lot of people have got the achievement by asking someone to quickly lose a match to them, so the definition of "legitimate" is very blurry.

Another part of the reason is I always thought achievements were silly. They're okay if done right, but in many games *cough* World of Warcraft *cough* Star Wars: The Old Republic *cough* they're a terrible tacked-on system that forces players to bend over backwards to unlock them, or they track completely meaningless stats, like performing the same mindless action three billion times.

So in part I just wanted to demonstrate how little they are worth, and can be all "achieved" via mod that has been made in 2 minutes.
