<----- Notes ----->

Specs:
LG Large Energy Storage Tank
Input – 240 MW | Output – 240 MW | Max Storage – 60 MWh | 30% Initial Stored Power

LG Energy Storage Unit
Input – 26 MW | Output – 26 MW | Max Storage – 8 MWh | 30% Initial Stored Power

SG Compact Energy Storage Unit
Input – 6 MW | Output – 6 MW | Max Storage – 3 MWh | 30% Initial Stored Power

SG Energy Storage Core
Input – 1 MW | Output – 1 MW | Max Storage – 300 KWh | 30% Initial Stored Power

- The Large Storage Tank takes up the same block space as 54 1x1 blocks. This tank will take up a bit more space than using 1x1 blocks, and it also doesn’t offer the same amount of output nor storage as 54 blocks but will get you close for a third of the cost, ultimately costing you less and eventually taking up less space than 1x1s.

- 1 Large Tank is equal to:

o 20 – 1x1 batteries of storage
o 20 – 1x1 batteries of input & output
o 12 – 1x1 batteries worth of build materials
o 54 – 1x1 batteries worth of space

NiteOwl Battery Pack has it’s own category in the menu, but incase you want to search for items,

I for one am grateful for all you Modders out there, without you people, doing what you do, would leave us ignorant to the possibilities of any mod-able game.

To quote a couple of famous people:
"You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time".

sorry that earlier comment came off more dismissive than i intended
was quite a big blow when ive loved this mod for years
there will always be a vocal minority but your mod overall was fantastic
i do think it could have used a balance pass but making it more expensive would have been a better route
there really isnt any good up to date alternatives to this mod
most mods only add 1x1x1 blocks which tends to be op and looks meh
or they only offer 3x3x1 or 3x3x3 blocks that are very slightly better than vanilla which isnt worth the download at that point
i wouldnt mind one bit if i had to grind a lot more to make these as they would still have a ton of use fpr large ships
i really needed something to go alongside some very high tier and expensive reactors
making then more expensive and keeping them still better than vanilla would have been perfect for that and even just from a performance standpoint its better
its your decision to make but i really hope youll reconsider

@Z0mbie - Im sorry you feel that way. I tried to make the mods fun, but when they aren't balance for the vanilla game or survival, I get loads of complaints via steam, discord, and other platforms. So I changed them.

One would think that players would be grateful for receiving free content, sadly, there is a lot that aren't. And they're the loudest, and the most persistent with their complaints.

oof i guess i'll have to find a different battery mod now
i used to use these for a very very large ship as a replacement for having hundreds of batteries
but with the balance changes this isnt worth using for anything more than decoration now

@ BSG-22 Wiki: There's a few other posts here, too than mention some figures b4 balance patch. And While You might not be able to figure out all the *exact* numbers, I'm sure you could calculate most of them.
Mr_Mosey 1 May @ 2:47pm
@ BSG-22 Wiki I might have the numbers *somewhere*. I like to copy & paste mod page info to Word when I get the chance, not sure if i managed to save the data on this one, though. What you could do is do that math on how much power your miner used & come up with the data that way.

Another thing is Kaedys posted a few figures back in 2023 about how much juice the largest one produced.

It's alright, I customized the code. I made it so that it costs 30% more than 45 batteries since it's a 3x5x3 and hold 30% more for a total of 200MWh. I wanted to make it a more compact/dense of storage while spending more resources in return.
MTGraves  [author] 18 Feb @ 4:24am
@BladeWaltz - Ok, thanks for letting me know. I will take a look at the code, possible I typed in the wrong numbers or my math was bad lol.

Just downloaded the mod, there's an issue with the large energy tank, it only stores 20MWs instead of 60MWh. Other blocks work fine. Cool mod overall.

do these return power cells or scrap when ground down?
