Plattenbau Dresden WHH17 No.1-3

Hello Folks,

today's pack of buildings rotted in my project folder for pretty much a year, but I decided to clean up said folder and finished this project.
These colorful blocks are standardized East German high-rise buildings with a colored, tiled facade. Each building has 208 residential homes.



This building type originated in Dresden and was only built there and the immediate surrounding cities. The plans for this building were finished in 1973.
The building has 17 floors, with a 18th floor solely for the roof access. Inside the protruding part of the building is a staircase and two elevators.
Measured from the edge of the staircase-part, the block is 51.75m tall. Around 145 days were needed to erect such a block, all elements added together reach a weight of 11926 tons.



The 3 included buildings have been named by a system I hope is at least somewhat understandable.
"DRE" sorts them to my other assets from former East Germany.
"WHH" stands for "Wohnhochhaus" which translates to residential tower block.
"17" indicates the number of floors per block.
The "No.1" stands for the general design the building is.



The 3 blocks can be found under their names, starting with "DRE WHH17" or alternatively by searching for "Plattenbau".
Some tiled parts of the facade of are color-mapped, 4 close to original colors included.

Here's a list of all the facade HEX-colors used:

• grey: A5A5A5
  
• orange: B28047
  
• blue: 274042
  
• white: FFFFFF

All three towers are on a 6x3 plot, the building itself is NOT flush with the plot lines.
The buildings can only be used with the RICO mod. They are level 5 high residential buildings with 208 homes each.
If used without RICO mod, they stay functionless unique buildings.

The main texture files and some of the LOD textures are shared, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
