*** NOT XBOX or Weapons Core ( Core Systems ) Compatible ***
*** Does NOT need WeaponCore to be used !! ***

A Large and Small Block 20 mm PDC ( Point Defense Cannon ) Laser Turret firing an almost continuous beam of Laser Energy.

1x1x1 Large Block and 5x5x5 Small Block.

This version is low profile using the in game Small Rocket Launcher Model to closer match my 6-Rocket Salvo Launcher. It will also direct replace my previous versions without breaking your blueprints.

Fully color and texture compatible.

Large Conveyor port on the bottom so that you can load recovered Laser Energy Cells into it, so no wasted energy ammo. Use of the conveyor is optional !

Ammo Self Generates directly into the turret using Darth Biomechs Energy Ammo Script ( used with permission ).

Requires 2.5 Mw of power to generate Laser Energy Boxes. Each shot has slightly more damage than a 25 mm Nato round but of course has the advantage of using power vs resources to be generated.

AI has a range of 1200 m, fires in bursts of 450 shots at a Rate Of Fire of 1500. Takes time to "cool down" after every 450 shots.

Thanks to Digi for his 'Missile Turret Sound Sync" repair script and Darth Biomech for the Laser Ammo Script. Thanks to Nicolas March for the idea from his use of the Keen model as a large block launcher and the turrets icon.

Really like this mod! Offers a nice low profile option for point defense. Still works as of right now.

Updated laser damage per shot ( error introduce when ROF changed )

Checked Keen AI reports on SP and DS, working fine ( see note below ) when WEAPON CORE NOT INSTALLED! ( known issue that WC breaks vanila AI on Vanilla non-WC turrets ).

Also note - KEEN DS AI problem with auto targeting, they officially announced it will be fixed in 1.201.000. For Torch Server's there are 2 plugins already fixing this. No issues on Single player.

ah that's a shame.. In all honesty i don't even use any features of WeaponCore, but some of my mods require it.. along with some enemy AI mods.. Aw :(

Most likely it will not work. Vanilla weapons in game dont behave right with WC so you have to assume this will as well.

The look of this turret kinda reminds me of robocraft plasma cannons.
Does it break if used along WeaponCore?
