2038 Altis Armed Forces Expansion

A small mod that adds 4 new BLUFOR factions to the game using the Arma 3: Aegis and After East Wind mods as well as relevant expansions as a base. While this mod doesn't add/retexture any assets, it utilises assets from these mods as well as the base game, DLCs and Western Sahara CDLC. This mod aims to extend the somewhat limited scope of the NAAF/NAA from the mods used.



Altian National Guard:
A relatively large and diverse faction, with equipment inspired by the Cypriot National Guard and a few of my own ideas thrown in. This faction utilises CSAT, NATO and AAF weapons and vehicles to try and emulate the Cypriot National Guard's actual arsenal while using modernised variants present in the vanilla game and substituting others with look alikes.

Altis Coast Guard And Navy:
A relatively small faction consisting of mostly boats and light aircraft, however they are equipped with cargo planes, jets, patrol boats and a specialised counter piracy unit to compliment the lightly armed Coast Guard that focuses more on rescue operations.

Altian Anti Smuggling and Terror Unit
The Altian Anti Smuggling and Terror Unit, or more commonly known by the Greek abbreviation of MKLTA are a division of the Altian Military Police. Split into 3 branches, MKLTA conduct a wide range of operations on Altis and Stratis to shut down illegal trading and terror plots. The Patrol Officers are inspired by British Military Police and mostly operate checkpoints and patrol the islands searching for suspicous activity and shutting down deals. The Enforcement Team take inspiration from South American police units and specialise in raids on mainly smuggling gangs as well as rebel groups. The Quick Reaction Force is Altis' premier counter terror group, responding to any attack on the island that isn't of military nature and raiding the compounds of the nation's biggest security threats.

Altian Hazardous Environment Security Corps
The AHESC are tasked with the discovery and safe disposal of all chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats on the island as well as the treatment of anyone affected by the materials. Coming in three variants of equipment depending on the security threat level the AHESC are capable of disposal of general hazardous waste, securing potential CBRN weapons and conducting special forces operations to neutralise anyone posing a CBRN threat to the nation.

This mod uses items from most vanilla DLCs. This means that AI and non-owners can still use the mod as long as they don't mind watermarks, however the Western Sahara CDLC or Compatability Pack must be used, they can be found here and here respectively

This is my first mod and therefore will most likely have issues, for example unit portraits don't tend to match the selected unit and the groups are somewhat lacking, I'll look into these more at a later date.
