"Copertina" Bolt Action Map

Description
A 72 by 48 inch map for Boltaction inspired by Italy.

I recently felt like making another map for Boltaction, as the previous got a bit stale, so I asked my friend what sort of climate he would like to see. The answer was "mediterranean".

(sidenote) this project finally got me to learn how to spell, "mediterranean"

The map features what i would describe as a roughly italy inspired countryside complete with hedgerows, farm plots, various common local trees and the b e a c h.

Whether you choose to use the hedgerows as line of sight obscuring or simply soft cover, whether to count the church as in the boundaries and whether your units should be able to come in from the water side of the table is entirely up to you and your opponent. However my personal recommendation is to leave the church out of it, to use the hedgerows as see-through soft cover, and to enable Aquaman mode TO THE MAX.

Happy killing!

And look forward to more Italian maps coming soon, as a friend bought the Soft Underbelly rulebook which features scenarios for maps that ALREADY HAVE PREPLANNED LAYOUTS. Fyi, planning the layout and figuring out whats fun/balanced takes way the hell longer than actually making the maps, so i should be able to really factory crunch a few in a row.
