Derby Yard

Really enjoyable, small little level. I found myself really enjoying this one - short, sweet, and challenging. I've got a soft spot for small maps, and I've also got a soft spot for maps that require a lot of active reversing and such, so this map was a treat to play. Thanks!

You know, I hadn't really thought about that - I don't actually know if the prototype has cabs on both ends or not. I assume not, based on the fact that two of the three lines are loop lines, and the third has reversing loops at both ends, but I never actually got confirmation.
Absolutely right, though - this does showcase that well, even if I didn't really think about it when designing the map

(I think this is how it works if you build a yard for x streetcar's and use it hosting 2 x x .)

(It's also a good map to show why smaller networks (with 'turning loops' at both end of the line) sometimes decide to buy streetcars with a 'cab' at both ends or at least a simple 'cab' at the end of the consist to make it easier to go backwards. I remember one situation in the Netherlands where, despite of having cabs on both ends, at the yard was made a 'turning loop' to equalize the wear of the wheels on both sides.)
