What does this mod do?
Simply put this mod allows you to read faster (or slower) and allows you to even read a book while you walk.

The mod also has it's own Sandbox options you can use to configure if you want to be able to read while walking, how fast or slow you read AND if you want to read faster when sitting down!

How does it work?
Either start a new game and adjust the settings under [Custom Sandbox]
OR install a mod that allows you to [Change Sandbox Options] for a game you've already started.

Minutes per page (Build 41 only)
This value determines how fast or slow you read books while standing or walking.
The default for SOLO is 2.0, The default for Servers is 1.0
The lower this value, the faster you read.
(For example: setting this to 0.1 will make you read really fast)
B42 Users can find this setting under "Character", it's called "Minutes Per Skill Book Page"

Sitting Multiplier
This value multiplies the reading speed, but only applies to when you are sitting.
The Higher this value, the faster you read.
(For example if you set this value to 10.0 you read 10x faster when sitting or "Resting")

Read while walking
Enable this to read a book while walking.

Does this mod work with other mods?
Yes, I've tested a few mods and it worked with all the books they included.

After an update my character is reading slower/faster then they used to, why?

Sometimes i am forced to change stuff in the mod that forces the game to reset certain values back to default
The first good example of this was when B42 introduced Minutes per Skill Book Page as a vanilla sandbox setting, which made this mod's Minutes per page setting absolete.
There is nothing i can do about this but you won't have to start a new game because the fix is pretty simple:

Use DEBUG mode (or a mod) to change your savegame's sandbox settings.
(Starting a new game also works, but that would be overkill right?)

How do i enable debug mode?

To enable debug mode:
- Rightclick on Project Zomboid in your Steam Library
- Click on Properties
- In the box under Launch Options type: -debug

- Launch Project Zomboid and load your save.
- Click on the WASP looking icon on the left side of the screen, this is the DEBUG MENU.
- Click on Sandbox Settings

If you want ALL reading to go faster:
- Click on the Character tab and look for Minutes per skill book page
- Lower it's value to make reading go faster.

If you only want reading to go faster when sitting:
- Click on the M-13's Reading Tweaks tab and look for Sitting Multiplier
- The higher this number, the faster you read when sitting on the ground or on furniture.

After you are done changing values click Apply Changes
If you want to disable DEBUG MODE, close your game and remove -debug from the launch options.
The settings you changed will only take effect AFTER you reloaded your save game.

What if i do not want to use this mod anymore?
This mod can be removed from your game without consequences.

Does this work for Multiplayer?
For B41: Yes it does, but it overwrites the "MinutesPerPage" value in your server's sandbox settings.
When Multiplayer for B42 releases, i expect no issues regarding this either.

It should also work in Co-op, but i have not tested this.
