Usable Rubik's Cubes

Description
Usable Rubik's Cube v1.02 41.66+

As of June 2023, this mod is no longer in active development.

Adds the ability to finally solve those Rubik's Cubes you've been collecting. Upon successfully solving it, you'll be rewarded with a reduction in boredom and stress, and a slight increase in happiness. However, you aren't guaranteed to solve it every time, resulting in a very minor gain in boredom and stress.

This mod can be safely added to an already existing save.

Please post any problems or bugs in DIscussions.

Tested in 41.66 SP.

I've literally been thinking about this mod for so long and for some reason I just *now* decided to search it up. You are a genius and a scholar. If I could kiss you on the lips, I would.

Oh man I've wanted something like this for a good while. Now it needs a way for the character to get better.

I read the idea about successful solves increasing probability which is a good way to approach it but I feel like it should also slightly reduce solve times to no lower then ~20 seconds* as well, an addition I think adding a really rare book called something like 'Learning the CFOP method'** to add some sort of modifier to increased probabilities and solve times would really round out the whole mod well.

These suggestions would also be lore friendly as well.

* First world competition solve record is in 1982 at 22.95s then there isn't another one until the WCA is formed in 2004 and the record is broken at 16.53s

**CFOP method was first developed in the 1980s but becomes popularised when Fridrich posted it online 1997 which is why I suggested an very rare book on it.

Just curious, does this consume the cube when you solve it?

@𝕂ØN𝔸 I'm hoping to update the mod in the future so it will keep track of how many successful solves you've performed and use that value to influence the probability of a successful solve.

solving a rubiks is like riding a bike, you never really forget how to solve one, no matter what orientation the cubes are in.
