100 hidden frogs lore
By jorge
100 hidden frogs is supposedly a normal game, but no the frogs all have a reason for being there. as you go throughout the breathtaking scenery finding the frogs, you'll notice most of the frogs have different personalities. this is because the frogs have human souls trapped inside them. the snake and alligator are the main antagonists in the game who are personally responsible for the souls being trapped. help the frogs throughout the game and you will be generously rewarded with their gratitude as humans.

If you think about it, this is a serious analogy of a functioning capitalist country.

What about the "queen" frog at the bottom? I'd argue they aren't trapped human souls, but a functioning frog society, where the alligators are the police, punishing frogs that break the law, the snake is a mafia boss, and the beaver at the bottom is the designated swamp builder. The bigger frogs are like the political officials, and their size represents their power, while the queen is still small because she is simply a symbol of power, but actually has no power. In this analogy, you could notice that the size of things has a direct correlation with their power for everyone in the picture, including the trees (unchanging, international capitalist whales, taking up space and giving the people some benefits like shade, while keeping the best things, the nutrients, completely for themselves. They are taxed to build the public infrastructure, meaning that the beaver will chop some down and build the dam using them to be for public use)
