B-16E Stiletto Custom

During the salvage mission on the abandoned base of Pertam, a member of the Space Pirates recovered a B-16 Stiletto.

B-16 was designed for a specific competitive event and only a few were manufactured. The spacecraft was retrieved, repaired, and customized. While the powerful propulsion system of the original design is kept, the spacecraft is outfitted with a new battery system, weapons, and computers. This retrofitted Stiletto has more sustainable flight time, heavier firepower, stronger maneuverability, and lighter chassis.

The modification is mostly off-spec and custom-made, resulting in this extremely agile spacecraft. The Stiletto Custom is subjected to the personal use of this particular Space Pirates member, whose name is not recorded.

I wanted this to have that Mad Max vibe without turning into something very spiky. I followed the idea that this is not one unified design, but a machine that is continuously integrated and modified with parts from different sources. A sense of elegance in the overall compressed form and the flimsy structures. But also the sense of a brutal approach to efficiency in the Half-finished and exposed mechanism.

It runs on all three types of thrusters, pretty fast in the atmosphere. Use batteries and fuel. Four autocannons and two rocket pods. Number 4 on toolbar 1 toggles fixed cruising speed. Other than that all the rest are pretty self-explanatory.
