Thats very nice of you. Hope to try it soon.
I've had this ready-ish for awhile, but I got super distracted "testing" it. It's hidden for now so you (and anyone else) can give it a try. It works, seems fun enough. Should address the concerns. Haven't set up the workshop description & info yet, either. Let me know what you think, feedback is appreciated - from you, and anyone.

The map is a blank slate, you really need to start the bypass routes sooner rather than later.
Ripped out the entire railway intersesction thing, the outside connections can be connected alongside the other side of the riverbanks.
My complaint is only that the initial intersection railroaded my city design and blocked progress until I managed to buy enough land for a bypass.
Consider having the railway travel detached from the highway and let the player create junctions where he deems needed.
Would also be great to have another outside connection coming from the East, from the dessert region.
Take a look at the rail interchange used in the "less modified" version here .
It actually comes from a set from @Impact (IIRC)
Issues are:
- Hard to connect your rail lines to
- Rails get jammed on the intersections (they're too short and very tight, causing them to slow down)
The bridges are their original heights, I didn't modify them.
The rail interchange was an attempt to...actually get it to work. It is a little silly, but it solves an additional problem where, even if I fixed the outside connections, rails could also get stuck there because there was no space for a 4 way rail interchange.
The entire highway system is designed to be used with a rail-and-highway network collection that has some issues with the rails being hard to connect to, having too tight of turns / short of connections / no bypasses (one connection point for SEVERAL directions).
I'll consider making a version that just makes it parallel, as sometimes that's what I end up doing on this map.
Would be better if you simplified it somehow, the bridge is also silly.
