Description

Description
This mod adds a new building Rover's Recharger. Here the Rover can recharge its chemical battery with chemical fuel.
The Rover will recharge only if its battery charge reaches a low value.
However, it is impossible to charge a fully discharged battery.
  • Requires research Artificial Friends*
  • Requires 200 kg of Metal Ore
  • Requires 150 kg of chemical fuel (Combustible Liquid) per one recharge
*Unlike other high-tech buildings, the Rover is able to build this building.
The Combustible Liquid can be delivered by Pipe, or manually by Bottle.

The Biobot cannot use this building.
If you want to recharge your biobot's biobattery, you can consider other mods for it:
Biobot Upgrades by pether pg

In addition, the Rover's Module can now carry enough fuel for three refueling and land it together with the Rover on a new planetoid.
After disassembling the Rover's Lander, the Rover will be able to build a Rover's Recharger and put this fuel in it.
Replenishment of fuel reserves in the Rover's Module is possible manually with bottles, and with the help of a Liquid Rocket Port Loader.

Configuration
You can сonfigure this mod via the Main menu -> Mods -> Rover's Recharger -> Options
You can adjust the recharge time and the required amount of fuel.
You can turn on off the fuel carrying by the Rover's Module.

Priority settings and sweeping commands didn't seem to work to use the bottle until I eventually got refined metal and made bottle emptier attached. I'll try again sometime.

@demalion Just don't connect any pipe to the Recharger. Then the Rover will put the bottle in the Recharger.

How are you supposed to add the fuel to the recharger on a new planet where you drop the Rover? There is no pipe port on the lander and it drops a bottle on landing ..what can a Rover do with that bottle? It is doing nothing for me

It would be great if it could be used by Biobots, just by changing the demand and injecting gas containing Zombie Spores,I'm fed up with the tedious process of making Biobots every day

@Sanchozz Wow that was fast. Thanks much!

@Deadly_Shadow Oh, yes. I once disabled the ability to build this inside the rocket so as not to confuse users, since we couldn't get the rover to go inside the rocket.
It's time to turn it back on.

love it. One small request: Can the Recharger somehow be built inside a rocket?

@Greystar Click on Liquid Hydrogen. Read its tags. Does it say "Combustible liquid"?
Greystar 26 Dec, 2023 @ 6:59pm
I assume by Combustible liquid you mean either Petroleum or Ethanol? Or is Liquid Hydrogen also included.
