I didn't like any of the existing map mods 100%, so I sat down, tweaked their numbers and that brings us to me uploading this mod

If you don't like it, turn the mod off!

The maps I took inspiration from are:

I liked their general look, but this mod differs significantly in various visual zoom levels.

@Fuki change the assets back to one of the older variants. i think they auto update to the next version. It's in settings I can't remember exactly where.

I really love the way the transparency works when zoomed in with this mod. Is there a way I can separate that from the cleaner look of the paper map?

I like the way the map looks, but I think this mod removes the table behind the map, resulting in map floating in the void, I don't know if this is intentional

OPB, I have a question, where should I put this in my playset's mod order? I use it alongside the roads mod and medieval arts, and the table dissappears from my game.
