[PIRATE] Pirate Flak Frigate (VANILLA)

During their daring raids, the pirate strike groups acts so fast that the defenders barely have time to get into position to counterattack. However, for their incredible speed, pirate ships are forced to pay with the fragility of warships, which makes them vulnerable even to enemy light ships, which include fighters. That is why the big pirate battle groups made sure that the mere news of a pirate raid sent chills down the spines of all fighter pilots.

A Flak Frigates, a bane of small fighter crafts, provide a reliable line of cover for the rest of the ships of the small pirate fleets. Pirates prefers to keep their ships as light as possible, so they don't like to carry too many weapons on their vessels and most of the anti-aircraft weaponry were placed on numerous specialized warships.

This class of ships surpasses even corvettes in terms of speed, and their hull carries an anti-aircraft system consisting of five 6-barreled autocannons. Under continuous fire from 30 guns, not a single small spaceship will last even half a minute.

The role of auxiliary weapons is carried out by 7 rapid-fire turrets for damaging sturdy ships and 4 twin gun turrets supporting attacks on armored targets. Also, a twin railgun is mounted in the foreside of the vessel, allowing the Flak Frigate, located behind the front line due to its incredible fragility, to carry out fire support for assault ships, while remaining safe from the enemy fire.
