I really appreciate the variety that the game allows. However, I find the rpg trinity (heal/tank/dps) must still be maintained. It's not a negative for me, rather it is another great nod to classic RPGs.
The team excels in locking stuff down between weakness on all the enemies and putting stuff to sleep. Physical damage is the damage source for most enemies, so you can keep them all hitting for one point of damage even on your dps if they are all hit with a sufficiently strong weakness debuff. Just watch going against seven phoenixes with their meteors. The party damage spread is also more even with two sources for holy, one magic, one physical, and one physical/nature.
The other option is to change your party now. You can do it in the first major city. The "player" isn't able to be reused. Also, you'll unlock a few classes. When you do, get rid of your warrior. The level xp is exponential, so you can catch up in levels relatively quickly. You can also buy xp potions.
I made a run with four tanks and a bard, it was a blast. Slow, but fun. I hope they keep the same ideas for the next game when it comes out.
