Description
Produced by Henschel-Werke & Porsche, Pz.Kpfw. E-100 (P) Super Heavy Tank (Panzerkampfwagen E-100 Porsche Turm) was a German super-heavy tank design developed towards the end of World War II. The largest of the Entwicklung series of tank designs intended to improve German armored vehicle production through standardization on cheaper, simpler to build vehicles. By the end of II World War only 1 prototype hull was build. In 1946, after III Reich estabilished governent
on the Moon surface, E-Series production has begun. Unfortunately, E-100 was too slow and too much heavy for new combat standards and production of E-100 was stoped in 1950. There were only 120 unit's produced in total. In 1980, after modernisation directive, every outdated designs were modernised into new standards. Brand new Maybach engine and modern KwK 128mm gun were installed into E-100, with great improvements of tank performence. E-100 was capable to combat all of the NATO unit's despite of it's big mass and slow top speed. They were used mostly in city combat or as second line command unit's.

"Grosse und Starke" - German Commander

*Rotor and Hatch are locked by default, to move Turret you have to unlock them by toolbar.
*E-100 is very heavy unit due to it's mass, to quickly turn left/right, use mouse with gyroscope help (Enabled by default).

Well, at current moment I'm not working at World War II stuff. Only post war prototypes and modern vehicles are fit into lore of universe tied to builds. It takes place in years 1989-2042, which was little too late for StuG III. (Nazis were retreat into Moon in 1945 and they did not produce outdated vehicles from war over there.).

Maybe something similiar to StuG III/IV will shows up, like StuG V on E-50/E-79 hull.

I would like to make a request.

Can you build a StuG please?
Its THE most legendary tank ever used in the entire war. StuG III PzkPfw AUSF-G more precisely, if you could please :)

if you would like to try my tests yourself just look up (Waffen (pz VI) Tiger II) on the workshop the see the tank i was testing your E-100 against.

Ah that does make sense, In order to get my tiger II to climb hills i had to strap two hydro thrusters to its back, they don't look to bad but they are a bit out of place on a WWII tank lol.

Both questions are literally same so I will just answer for first one:
- It's made of Light armors because wheels are too weak for such massive vechicle. All my rovers must be able to climb into 30-45 Degree slopes, and E-100 is climbing at 3km/h speed which is very slow. If I would make it with using Heavy armors, it will probably never climb into any hills.

Also I was using Rail-gun/Assault cannon against it for test, and for light armor blocks, it's very durable enough. Turret/Hull armor has 3 blocks size before you will reach weakpoints. Remember that real tanks are mostly destroyed by 1-2 shoots. E-100 survived around 4-6 shoots, more than real would.

So I just wanted to say I do love the design but I have some questions.
1. Why is it made of light armor
2. Did you know it is an explosive deathtrap if fully loaded with ammo?
I tested it using my tiger II (currently on the workshop) and it is an excellent design, I just wanted to know if those design choices were intentional, or just a convenience thing, or like me you found no noticeable difference between light and heavy armor when shot by the assault cannon.

What a bad boy! Been playing World of tanks for nearly 3 years. That thing brings me back some of those memories! Love it. :)

Thank you. :3

That's true, but E-100 is actualy pretty good tank in War Thunder despite it's slow speed. It's well-rounded armor with degree-hull playing makes it very valuable ally-shield in city or far distance maps. Well at least is playable compared to slower Maus. :)

Being too slow and too heavy were two things the Nazis loved putting in their tanks along with bad engineering. Nice maus-lookin' tank tho.
