Trouble in Paradise- Zombie Survival Map

Description
After an infection in the water supply, mutating the insect life of the area, a renowned resort island has been transformed into a zombie abyss. The police forces of the area have given up on a cure, simply exterminating anyone who could possibly carry the virus. It's up to you and a rag tag group of survivors to try and survive in this hell hole.

do you know which of the mutations that scares me the most? The spider that lurks under the resort.
that thing always kills me when I go into its watery lair to find and destroy one of the devil's crosses and even though I have my flashlight on, I still can't see the thing coming until it crushes me by trampling me.
I have tried shooting it with two kinds of laser guns. the strawberry shooter and a mini gun called the crystal shooter, but none of them stop the spider in its tracks
