The choice is an illusion


I wonder how long it with will take before I run out of Matrix quotes. The initial release of the Abstract0 collection did really well on the workshop and because I really enjoy making them I decided to add some more weapons to the collection. I have made a USP-S Abstract0 as I never really had the oppertunity to make a USP-S skin (Besides the USP-S Confusk). Here is my attempt at making a good USP-S skin, I hope I did the weapon's renowned status justice with this skin.


Working with the USP-S was a bit more of an annoyance than other weapons, reason for this is that the 3D model has some small polygonal issues that need fixing first. Luckily my good friend Ezikyl has made a fixed model which I could use within wrapping my head around trying to fix it myself :D. Once the model was fixed I could start working on the design itself.

Working on the design was quite similar to all the other Abstract0 skins so I will spare you all the details. The only difference with this weapon and the others is that I had to make a silencer design. I have a lot of different iterations on the silencer but ended up with the current design as I think it matches the rest of the design best. Some simple green highlighting accompanied by elongated rectangles along the cylinder and some raised knurling at the start to give it a nice grip.
