Saito's Backstories

Beskrivning
The universe of Rimworld is full of countless interesting possibilities... and interesting people. Add a little more... character to your Rimworld with this lightweight mod, adding custom backstories referencing popular games and anime, as well as original works.

Most generate naturally, while others are meant to be used with a mod like Prepare Carefully or Character Edit. The backstories that generate naturally are designed to fit into the emotional framework established by Rimworld, and blend in with vanilla backstories as best possible. The backstories made for for manually-made pawns(i.e. not meant to spawn naturally) drop any and all pretense of subtlety.

Believe it or not, pre-1.4, adding backstories wasn't as easy as it sounded; Tynan really liked to keep those close to the heart code-wise and you needed HAR to make backstories work. While I haven't been able get into 1.4, Chicken Plucker told me that it's a lot easier now to add backstories. Once I get time, I'll bring this up to 1.4 and remove the HAR dependency.

I'll work on a few more backstories before bringing this to 1.4, and get a few sample images of backstories made as well.

Ive been running into that myself alot recently. Like with the Forgotten Realms Lizardmen. Seems to work regardless. If you find a solution to it, hit me up.
