Better is subjective of course, but I wanted to have something that's more powerful. I love strings and the violin felt weak to me, especially lower notes.

This mod offers an alternative, stronger soundfont for the violin. Should be compatible with anything that doesn't change the violin's samples. Even a sprite swap should be fine.

The best musical instruments mod, nothing compares. Blumenkranz now sounds like itself instead of random noises. Due to it being much louder its impossible to enjoy any other instruments though

Any way to get a version of this that is not quite as loud? drowns out like all other insturments but love the quality.

in the future, violins now play en masse, individually
which is pretty easy to justify in starbound because of all the wacky "it's the future" shenanigans
