Description
A communist scifi theme to remember the future we could have had.

The basis for the theme is aRandomkiwi's cyberpunk theme. I also wish to thank him for the framework.

Music for the main menu is 'Don't Leave' by Gummy Boy.

Main menu image is from Tarkovsky's movie, Solaris, a masterpiece of Soviet Scifi.

Hope you enjoy my first ever mod!

The soviets werent exactly better than america when it came to civil liberties but atleast the founding ideals were something to strive for, even if they strayed for them, and they DID get to space before the united states

@Tech-Priest by no means did the soviets lose.
in today's day and age having the first man in space is a far better accomplishment than the first man on the moon
the Soviets also Won the "We had better Weaponry" race.
Which is different to the cold War also knoWn as the "arms race".
the soviets Were far better than the americans.

I am anti-communist but I think Sovietwave is more about the high-minded hopes and dreams of the people of the Eastern bloc than the excesses of the governments. I am sorry the west threw the Soviet people under the bus in the wake of the collapse. They didn't deserve that.

@TurtleShroom If you are a right winger please skip this mod instead of coming in to promote your political views.I have never seen left-wing remarks such as liberating slaves and destroying capitalism under other mods. Why can't you just stop for a while?
