Open Duet

Open Duet is a clone of the mechanics from the mobile game Duet, ported into Open Hexagon. It is being developed as an open-source expansion of Duet, aiming to modularise each part of the original game in a manner that will make future level creation within Open Hexagon using the Duet mechanics easy and accessible to any programmer. This is done by using a string-based pattern generator that will receive gradual overhauls as more flexibility is required.

You are free to use level code in your own Steam Workshop submissions, however it would be greatly appreciated if you contributed to the Open Duet project itself, to make sure it encompasses as much of the original as possible and has complete flexibility. Some levels will need to be reworked to account for some contributions, but the work will be worth it.

The original game Duet was created by Kumobius with music by Tim Shiel. If you happen to be reading this, please go and support the original creators by buying the premium in-app purchase, the game is well worth the price of admission.

The artist Sevish[sevish.bandcamp.com] has given permission for his solo discography to be used in level packs included in and recordings of Open Duet for non-commercial purposes. This encompasses all tracks made by him alone. His music will be featured in brand new levels made for this pack.
