Brunsbuttel Port

The port of Brunsbuttel played an important role in the supply of parts for German submarines. Not far from the port there was a disguised plant for the production of parts, the necessary resources were delivered from the port by rail, and the labor of prisoners from the Stalag X-B camp was used. The battle for the port took place in April 1945
