Description

An early truck originally built as an interim solution for getting resources from mines back to a train. It proved to be capable at it's job and a replacement never came in the end, it remains in use as the corporation's primary mode of land haulage thanks to it's simple design and modest cost.

Operation

-Flip the Engine On/Off switch and hold down the engine start button to start the engine.
-Push the gear lever forward to select drive (between 0.5 and 1), pull it back to select reverse (between -0.5 and -1) or leave it in the middle for neutral (between -0.5 and 0.5). Hotkeys 2 and 3 can also be used to move the gear lever forward and back.
-Release the handbrake.
-Use WASD to accelerate, brake and steer.

Turning off the engine may toggle the handbrake off as well, be sure to engage it again after turning the engine off.

Cruise control can be toggled by pressing hotkey 1, use the keypad to set the desired speed (actual speed may be slower depending on trailer load). Cruise control will also turn off when braking.

Notes

The truck is capable of speeds in excess of 180 km/h, although it may become aerodynamically unstable and may even start flipping over backwards due to wind resistance. When pulling a loaded trailer, the truck may start spinning it's wheels at higher speeds due to the way unpowered trailers work in Stormworks.

The doors may sometimes get stuck. If it happens, just close it and get out the other side. Moving the truck or getting out usually fixes it.

Composite outputs to the trailer connector is numerical channel 1 for brakes, boolean channel 2 for reverse and boolean channel 3 for lights.

Well, if not for the space nuclear power requires, I would have done so already!

Could you make a nuclear powered version?
