[WotC] Enemy Unknown Style Armor Tints

Description
Features
This mod adds some new cosmetic options for the XCOM 1 style armours that come with the Tactical Legacy and Resistance Warrior Packs.

The XCOM 1 styled armors that come with these DLC have a subtle difference from the armors from the original game they're based on: they use the primary tint for the legs, meaning they match the armour plates instead of the sleeves.

This mod adds a new set of customisation options to Resistance Warrior and Tactical Legacy kevlar armours that uses the primary tint for armoured parts and the secondary tint for cloth parts, making an overall more lightly armored look that's more accurate to the original game. I think it looks better too!

Compatibility
This should work with everything, it just adds some new cosmetic options to the DLC armors. I've also included configuration for [WotC]Prototype Armory and name configuration to match [WotC] Part Names for Vanilla Armors.

If you'd rather the armors be called Torso 0, Torso 1, et cetera, delete the XComGame.int file in the mod's localisation folder and they'll revert to that.

Alright, a little update on that situation from two years ago; the author of the merged armors seems to have added XcomContent.ini while making it all work for Prototype Armor, and that gave me a little something to piggy back. I've managed to transfer your lovely work over by changing the archetype.

@Lago that's the weird part, as it doesn't add new armor sets, nor does it have an XcomContent.ini. It just has an XcomClassData.ini in which it enables the classes to wear each other's armors. There shouldn't be an issue conflict you think about it, but there is somehow XD.

It'll take a bit of ini editing. This mod adds the new options to the TLE armour sets as cosmetic parts in XComContent.ini. If the conflicting mod sets up new armour sets, you can add the new looks to it in its XComContent.ini.

[WOTC] All Armors For All Soldiers (AKA TLP Looks For All) seems to override your tint changes back to the default. Do you know of any way to prevent this?

Not by default, but these are essentially just cosmetic parts so you could easily add them to other armours with a little ini editing.

Does this also support Light and Heavy kevlar armor?

This is awesome. I always support consistency.

The problem seems to be solved right now, but I'm not sure why or how.

I think it was a conflict with another mod or maybe some file not being download properly, but after reviewing everything and re-downloading the files things seem functional. :SBHorse:

Yes, I have. And the mod was working before, no idea what happened. But I'm reviewing my mod list and making some adjustments. I'll give it a new and try right next I'll let you know.

Do you have all the required DLC? Because if so I'm out of ideas. D:
