Preparation
  1. Unlock The layout C of The Rock Cruiser
  2. Use The layout C of The Rock Cruiser
  3. Set difficulty to "Easy"
First system map
  1. Open system map
  2. Restart if there is a lot of jumps before the exit
  3. Build the shortest route possible
First system
  • Any fight must be skipped or ended early at every opportunity. The only limitation is that you cannot lose Crystallin.
  • Go to all shops along the way. Buy Long-Ranged Scanners if available

Systems Map
  1. Count red sectors as 5, 6 and 7 levels
  2. Restart if there is one or zero red sectors
  3. Build a route to visit a maximum number of red points at 5, 6 and 7 levels. Visit sector is not necessary, it is enough just to read its name.
Fine map example with 5 good sectors:

Before the Rock Homeworld
  1. Go to the "Rock Homeworld" if available
  2. Visit all shops along the way. Buy Long-Ranged Scanners if available
  3. If there are no more red systems ahead (except for the eighth level) - restart
  4. Also restart if crystallin is dead

In the Rock Homeworld
  1. Visit every normal beacon, without a ship, without a star
  2. Ignore the exit, if there is already nowhere to search – restart
  3. On "Ancient device" event use the blue line "(Crystal Crew) Reactivate it."

Original chain
  1. "Dense Asteroid Field" event. Sectors: Engi, Rock, Pirate. Distress beacon, no ship presence. ((Rock Plating) Make a thorough search for the ship without fear of stray asteroids. ) => (Grab the stasis chamber )
  2. "Zoltan Research Facility" event. Sectors: Engi, Zoltan. Normal beacon, no ship presence. ((Damaged Stasis Pod) Ask if they can fix this. )
  3. "Ancient Device" event. Sector: Rock Homeworld. Normal beacon, no ship presence. ( (Crystal Crew) Reactivate it. )

Explanations
Quest
According to the developers' plan, to complete the achievement, you need to go through a whole chain of events. You need to find the stasis capsule, open it in the "Zoltan Research Facility," and obtain Ruven in your crew. After that, you need to reach the "Rock Homeworlds," where the necessary point will be highlighted. The problem is that the selection of systems is always random, and none of the stages guarantees the appearance of the required systems in the future. So perseverance and luck are key aspects of achieving this.

Preparations
The layout C of The Rock Cruiser has one Crystal crew member on board, which means finding and opening the stasis capsule is not necessary. Everything comes down to finding the "Rock Homeworlds" as quickly and as often as possible, which is a difficult task in itself. This is why we need the layout B ship and a "easy" difficulty. Renaming the Crystal crew member to "Ruven" was useful earlier, but the bug associated with it no longer works.

First System
One of the most important moments in this run is when the system map becomes known. In practice, about 2 out of 3 maps are unsuitable, which is why a restart is necessary. Therefore, there is no point in wasting time on the first system. It is also important to immediately make sure that the exit from the system can be reached in a few jumps, making quick restarts at the beginning of the game. Since battles take a considerable amount of time, they should be avoided and stopped at any opportunity, even if the enemy ship has no chance.

Before The Rock Homeworlds
In addition to visiting the Rock Homeworlds, a specific event must be found there. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase the following upgrades from stores:
Long-Ranged Scanners: Provide information about nearby events, helping to avoid jumps to unsuitable events.
Distraction Buoys: Provide more time to search for the required event.
Since no enemies need to be defeated to achieve this, it is possible to improve the engine to escape battles in later levels.

In The Rock Homeworlds
If both stages of the quest have been completed, a marker will appear on the map. All that is left is to fly to it. If not, check sectors without distress signals, ships, or stars. Survey as many points as possible. Don't waste jumps on exits or shops. If the "Ancient Device" event is found, select the blue option from the Crystal character. Achievement unlocked!
Unfortunately, the event doesn't always appear. If the fleet has passed through the entire sector, there's no point in continuing, as the Rock Homeworlds won't appear on the map again.

@Engineer Gaming, The idea is simple—restarting immediately after the run starts is much faster than going through the points. Since there is no guarantee of having a good Systems Map, there is no 'loss' factor. And yes, this guide is for the 'desperate or impatient' :steamhappy: , just achievement ASAP and nothing more.

Doubt restarting the run if they're too many jumps to the exit helps as you may miss out on finding the Rock Homeworlds when you do get them. Then again, depends on how desperate or impatient you are to getting this achievement.
