Flaxton Subdivision

The Flaxton Subdivision runs from Deerpath to Slinger. Starting from Deerpath, trains enter off of a single track, quickly turning into a double track line. Along this section, there is Bison Prairie Siding, which hosts an industry served by the local. Among other industries, nothing special happens until Newton. At Newton, the mainline is joined by the freight line. Most freight trains will enter or exit from this line. It is important to watch out for trains crossing over at Prairie Crossing as most will have braking penalties. It is also important to keep trains from the Mantiwau line moving as they should not become backed up.
