Zombie Loot

Description
This mod is tuned towards Extremely Rare Loot. Feel free to edit the mod and upload your own version to match your settings and/or server

This mod was made with multiplayer in mind. Like other survival games when you kill a mob you will have some likelihood of getting a none-valuable item. Perhaps it maybe a tissue or a can of peas. This mod aims to create sustainability for multiplayer where you can some what take care of your human hunger, thirst and very basic protection by involving yourself with combat. Will it help you thrive? no. But it will help you stay alive.

You can find some basics such as crisps, water, peanuts, hammer, glue etc. Nothing fancy. Just some basic items that might help you float above death for a bit longer.

The intention of the mod is to make a new visitor on your server have a more rewarding and pleasant experience without going overboard and drop feeding them ridiculously good items.

so a hammer wouldn't be a a weapon you'd take to smash zombies with in real life though? @myst Leissa? hahahah

Furthermore you can customize and the author has given permission to reupload modifications publically (since he knows it'd be too much work to try to do it in a UI for the admin), so there's no reason what-so-ever you can't change the spawn rates (% to drop) to your liking in the config and then reupload the mod with those changes to your private server.

@Laires, To be perfectly fair, have you played with Vanilla PZ's loot drops on Extremely Rare? They have a base-game issue with loot being overkill, especially on zombies, and while this mod is pretty balanced, it's also not designed to replace the stock/vanilla loot but rather spawn along side it (for example, most zombies on Vanilla Drop Clothing, watches, and jewelry rather commonly, and /very/ rarely (atleast on older versions) a bag of chips), this adds chips, pistols with small amount of ammo, and some tools/materials ON TOP of whatever PZ Devs decide to give you.

I think food/water should simply not spawn on zombies, period. As the comment below states it removes need for so many things. You can just kill zombies whole day and get everything you need to not just survive, but thrive.

A good example of how it should be done is the vanilla McCoy Logging Co. in Muldraugh - zombies that worked there have a chance for food to spawn in their Satchels. THAT feels like the right amount of loot to strive any modded zombie loot for. A trickle of extra food that you can't rely on, but can make all the difference having that extra 1-2 bags of chips. And it should only affect special zombies that would make sense to carry food on them.

There is literally no need for them to have hammers either, not only is it unrealistic for random bozos to carry hammers on them, but you can make Stone hammers for the exact purpose when you can't get the one from loot containers.

this makes every other zombie have a bag of chips, idk if its base or not but chips apparently have 1.2k calories so that just kills the whole survival thing especially long term.

There is alt version of this mod, could be subscribed to one of them? Not sure. This mod is a very small tweak and doesn't do much @Fensalir_Gaming
