MTG - Theros Block

Description
******************************************************************************************************************************
UPDATE
******************************************************************************************************************************
I set up a way to play two games simultanously.

1.) Load the Game Mode
2.) Change table to the Large table with white square in middle (allows you to upload your own image to fill the square).
3.) Use THIS image link
http://i.imgur.com/d0CWAp9.jpg
4.) Have fun!

NOTE: If the cards are to small you can change their size them using "-" and "+". !!!TIP!!! Enlarge all the cards in your deck at the same time to ensure all cards are the same size. Cards of different sizes WILL NOT STACK!

This is my first workshop release ever, so bare with me.

In this is all 564 Theros Cards to do with what you will.

I have all the lands seperated from the main pile of cards, so there is 5 piles of 160 lands (one each per basic land) and 559 of the block cards - the lands.

_____________________________________________________________________________
My intention for this (as I am a lover of limited play) is to get a knock-off Draft for me and my friends without having to pay $15 dollars to go to the local shop and play.

For Draft Play This is what I *SUGGEST*:

-Take the main pile of 559 cards and make a duplicate of it (I make a duplicate of the pile per person in our mock draft).
++So for 8 players you will have 8 of every single card after making 8 copies of the main pile. Thus leaving you with 4472 cards.

-Combine all piles (minus basic lands) into a master pile. One pile of 4472 cards.
++ Here you have 2 choice;
===1.) Deal 14 cards to each player from the master pile of 4472 cards. Thus resembling a "booster pack" minus the basic land.
===2.) Cut the master pile in half, then deal out the cards (NOTE: doing this assuming you have shuffled the master pile b4 cutting will result in the possiblity that NOT every card will be in the game!)

- Go about selecting one card from each "booster pack" and placing it on table in front of you face down.
- Pass pack in fashion of normal draft.
- After doing this process 3 times for 3 "booster packs" begin building your decks
- The table is not large enough for 2 simultanious games. Therefore I suggest playing 1 person at a time. (I hope you enjoy doing something else while you wait your turn!).

_____________________________________________________________________________

Bugs, and Tips;

- Be sure to flip all cards face down b4 passing and shuffle if you feel like it.
-TIP!!! you the card actions button to deal 1 card to each of the 8 players all at once; saves time
- When stacking large piles on top of each other first minimize them all to the smallest size then stack. Makes it easier to stack and less likely to knock things over. Hold R if need be.
- BUG/Error: I do realize that the "mock" booster packs are not the same as an actual booster pack in that there is no guarantee to be always 1 rare or mythic card. In fact after some testing you may get multiple mythics in one "pack" and a pack full of commons in another.

Future Plans:

I'm working on trying to get a table set up where you cant play 2 possible 3 matches at the same exact time. This away there will be less of a delay if you at person player 7 and 8... otherwise you got 3 matches before you get to even play your first! :/

I also have plans to make each other block of MTG. With the goal of have made each and every since MTG card for Tabletop Simulator. We shall see!

I appreciate you taking your time to check out this little bit of work. Feel free to leave comments, questions, and suggestions, as well as, helpful advice!

Hey there, not sure if I just missed it because of the order of the cards in the stack or not, but I can't seem to find the Genesis Hydra in your set here.

I get this error when I try to load your block; http://i.imgur.com/rSlrF1A.jpg
I suspect it is because of the "ø" in the username file. Do you have a way of adding support for that character (nordic character table) or potentially a workaround?

More explanations:

I runned with the same problem with some other mods.
And it is finally a new discovered bug of Tabletop Simulator (due to Mods fingerprint Version probably)
Since this affect newer version of Tabletop Simulator and finally, olds mods exported with older version of Tabletop Simulator...

The fix is rather simple, it's actually a workaround... but it seems if you resubmit (update even without any changes) your mods to the Workshop,
it can be redownloadable by Tabletop Simulator then.

On Martian Fluxx, the modder has just redo the submission to the Workshop (update the submissions only), and it working.

Do the same please...

Seems the mod won't be downloaded by Tabletop Simulator (new version).

It never show as downloaded/installed intoo my gamemodes Tabletop Simulator.

(but Steam say I subscribed to it...)

Can you look at it ?

For booster drafting, I suggest looking up Thundross on the nexusmods website. It can generate packs for specified sets. Your idea is a good one though, in the fact that each player won't constantly have to download the images for the cards since they will be on disk. :squirtyay:
