It would be really cool if this could only be used by pawns with Psylevels

Actually, now I want to see a version of this that ties into Ideology and makes it an actual ritual type available with certain memes or something

Does this require power to use?

I think balancing contacting trade ships would be simple - you could end up at a trade screen, or you could trigger a raid from an enemy far, far above your tech level as they decide it's too tempting not to just pillage what you've gathered. High risk, high-reward kind of situation.

Ya I get where it would be hard for the tribe to call the ship, but you'd think since the ships often trade in raw materials they would send envoys down via shuttle or maybe drop pod down a radio so they could set up trades, the tribal's steel and wood is just as good as the spacers. I'll do like you said and just dev mode in a beacon and just head cannon it was the ships that provided it lol.

@Eidolan yep, but you still need a trade beacon, cause I didnt want to allow trading with them as a tribe
so if you really want to, just dev mod one in, or steal one from a faction base and hookit up to an archotech battery or something

So I currently use the smoke signals, will this mod let me talk to trade ships in orbit?
