Description
Map from cs 1.6 ported to KF

Doesn't have any proper lighting sadly, because of unreal 2.5 limitations. The whole map is basically a mesh, so shadows are not really working, had to make zones with ambient light.

Version with added Fleshpound spawn (spawns a fleshpound every 60 seconds during wave)

Installation:

Put .utx file in KillingFloor/Textures folder and .rom file in KillingFloor/Maps folder

I used 3dsmax to convert the map to a static mesh, and there I basically removed unnecessary stuff. Faster than making from scratch, but there would be lots of discrepancies if you tried making it from scratch, depending how much time you invest in map making. The downside to static mesh map is that it's very not usual to the game's engine: it lags the server and you can't make any lighting except for the ambient one

Have you created it from the scratch or use some type of program to convert .bsp file to .rom file and build on that? I would like to port some source engine maps to kf, but I havent found an app for that yet...

I was comparing it to original and i'd say its pretty much the same proportion. It feels bigger because the cs 1.6 playermodels were taller.

central door? of the box? you mean the house? or that room-box in the sewers where the zombies come from? It's meant to be blocked off, that's basically a zombie spawn.

Excuse me bro the map online when I try to enter the central door of the box there is like an invisible wall that will not be allowed to pass:steamsad:

the map tends to lag alot in co-op (lan or dedicated), works just fine in solo. If anyone has any information of why is this happening i would be very very grateful
