Description
Byzantine Survived! This is an alternate history mod I made for fun to practice doing national focuses and things of that nature.

A bit of lore is Maurice Paléologue who was claimed to be apart of the Palaiologos dynasty and came back to the nation from Romania to unite the infighting tribes to bring Byzantium into the 21st century

1.01.
made some fixes added missing things like templates, soldiers and technology. Removed AI nations troops from Byzantine Land

1.02
added commanders and a few other fixes and missing things for the country

1.03
Buffed Byzantium added more factories mil and industrial Also more population for more troops

1.04
Last patch didn't work and decided to up the value of population to be a minor-major power in terms of population.

1.05 redid national focus tree. Added more to the middle path. much more interesting to play now. added more land in africa for Byzantine. see pictures above

1.06 Added more resources oil and aluminum to Byzantine.

a crusade from France, Italy and Spain returned Byzantium to the world map after the fall of Byzantium in greece/turkey

Shouldn't the Byzantines have Crete or something since they evolved from the Eastern Romans?

the history stands that the ottomans pushed the Byzantines out of greece and annatolia. as in real life but they held onto their african and some island claims in the Mediterranean they have been in decline until their current leader took the reigns

Wouldn't be logical at all to put them in Anatolia in the middle of Turkish War of Independece to be honest, perhaps they could've had an Enclave in Crete or the Aegean islands and open up from there.
