If the site is not in English you should be able to find the setting to change the language at the top right, under the word "kauppa" next to a shopping cart. I do have to warn you that the information page for the divisions isn't translated, but Google might be able to do it for you in a way that's understandable
"Pohjoinen" or "North Division" is only 1 group.
"Itä" or "Eastern Division" is split into 3 groups.
"Etelä", or "South Division" is split into 4 groups, and
"Länsi" or "Western division" is split into 4 groups.
You would probably have to make the 3rd division work similarly to the 2nd division (kakkonen) where you've split all groups into their own competition. I don't know that works, I haven't made any databases myself.
2ND NOTE: I JUST NOW NOTICED THAT YOU ACTUALLY MERGED SOME OF THE GROUPS TOGETHER IN FM22, MEANING YOU HAVE 6 GROUPS INSTEAD OF THE REAL WORLD 9. THAT'S FINE, WHATEVER YOU THINK IS BEST, BUT HERE'S HOW IT WORKS IN REAL LIFE
How promotion works between the 3rd and 4th divisions:
Relegation from 3rd division to 4th:
3rd Northern Division (1 group):
Winner of the group gets promoted
Worst placed team gets relegated
3rd Eastern Division (2 groups):
Winners of the groups get promoted
the 2 worst-placed teams (placed 11 and 12) from both divisions get relegated.
Winners of the groups get promoted
The 2 worst-placed teams get relegated, while the 3rd worst teams in the groups enter a relegation play-off as "SEED 1" with the 3 teams who advanced from their promotion playoff from the lower division being "SEED 2". "Explained at "4th Southern Division"
3rd Western Division (3 groups)
Winners of the groups get promoted
The 4 worst-placed teams from all groups get relegated???? (I don't understand why the rule would change so much within the same division)
How promotion between the 4th and 3rd divisions work, and how you get relegated from the 4th division:
4th Northern Division (1 group)
The winner of the group is promoted, while the last 2 teams are relegated to 5th division
4th Eastern Division (3 groups)
The winners of the groups get promoted, while the worst performing team of each group gets relegated
Group winners get promoted to the 3rd division. the runner-ups from all groups enter a group-stage with each other, where 3 teams advance into a promotion play-off against the 3rd last placed teams. The team that came 4th in the group stays in the 4th Division.
3 worst placed teams in all groups are relegated
4th Western Division (4 groups), The information is from 2020, the current (2022 season) system being used is super confusing with deviating group sizes and no relegation from the smallest group. So just use this example:
Group winners advance
The 4 last placed teams from all groups get relegated
NOTE: FROM NOW ON I WILL EXPLAIN HOW MANY GAMES ARE PLAYED IN THE GROUPS AS WELL AS SHOW HOW THE PRO/REL POSITIONS WORK IN GRAPHIC!!!!
3RD DIVISION, ALL TEAMS PLAY 2 GAMES AGAINST EACH OTHER IN THEIR OWN GROUP:
1. promotion
..
10. relegation
EAST, BOTH GROUPS:
1. Promotion
..
11. relegation
12. relegation
SOUTH, ALL 3 GROUPS:
1. promotion
...
10. relegation play-off as "SEED 1" VS promotion play-off team from the 4th southern division by draw
11. relegation
12. relegation
WEST, ALL 4 GROUPS:
1. promotion
...
9. relegation
10. relegation
11. relegation
12. relegation
4TH DIVISION, DIFFERING AMOUNT OF GAMES PLAYED
NORTH, (1 GROUP WITH 12 TEAMS):
1 round vs all teams, then group is split into 2 with a championship group and a relegation group (same way as the Finnish premier league, except they only play 1 game against each other, not 2).
The winner of the championship group is promoted
The 2 worst teams from the relegation group are relegated
1. promotion
...
11. relegation
12. relegation
EAST (3 groups with 10 teams in each), 2 games vs all teams, no split
all groups:
1. promotion
...
10. relegation
all groups:
1. promotion
2. promotion play-off group against the other 3 runner-ups. 1 round of games against each other, where the best 3 teams proceed to be "SEED 2" in the promotion/relegation play-off
...
10. relegation
11. relegation
12. relegation
* EXPLANATION FOR PLAYOFF GROUP:
1. Team 1 Qualified for 3rd division promo play-off against a 3rd division relegation playoff team
2. Team 2 Qualified for 3rd division promo play-off against a 3rd division relegation playoff team
3. Team 3 Qualified for 3rd division promo play-off against a 3rd division relegation playoff team
4. Team 4 Stays in the 4th division
**
1. promoted
..
10. relegated
11. relegated
I suggest hat you merge the 4th division teams, as you already did with the 3rd division teams, and replace this system with a simple multi-promotion/relegation system. Maybe a system like The championship and EPL uses, with 2 automatic promotions and 1 for playoff. or the Bundesliga with 2 automatic spots and 3rd place in the lower division plays against the 3rd worst team in the higher division. That might be fun enough. As long as you have relegation in the lowest league so anyone playing in Finland with this Database is fully able to utilize their B teams
