Jaguar XJ220 with V12 AWD Initial Concept Model

Jaguar XJ220 with V12 engine and AWD, CONFIG based on the initial plan of XJ220.
The engine was replaced with a Pagani V12 M120, which was chosen because of its similarity to the V12 engine used in the Jaguar XJR9. Since it is an older engine, the power output has been lowered a bit.
The cooling system has been increased to match the engine, and the exhaust pipes and peripheral equipment have been updated. The layout of the equipment is based on the XJR9.
A differential was added to the front suspension and combined with a driveshaft for AWD. A Porsche differential was selected to fit neatly into the low body of the XJ220. The tires have been changed to slick-type for high-speed running.
Wheels and interior design were adapted from the old XJS as the model was still in the planning stage.
This is a fantastic prototype of the XJ220 that could not solve various problems such as weight due to the pursuit of performance. Have fun with it!

Jaguar XJ220にV12エンジンを搭載しAWD化しました。XJ220の初期計画案を元にしたCONFIGです。
エンジンはPaganiのV12 M120に交換。Jaguar XJR9に搭載されていたV12エンジンに形が似ているので選択しました。古い型のエンジンなので、少し出力を下げています。
エンジンに合わせ冷却装置は増強、エキゾーストパイプや周辺装置を更新しました。機器のレイアウトはXJR9を参考に配置しています。
前部サスペンションにディファレンシャルを増設、ドライブシャフトと組み合わせAWDを実現しました。XJ220の低い車体にきれいに納めるためPorscheのディファレンシャルを選択しています。車輪はスリックタイプに変更し高速走行に対応しました。
タイヤや内装は計画段階のモデルということで古いXJSのデザインを流用しました。
性能を追求したあまり重量などの諸問題を解消できなかった、XJ220の幻の試作車です。楽しんでください。
