HMAS Vengeance

Here's the eighth post of the third round of Avem Empire airships! I'll be doubling my fleet size in this update, so make sure to check out all the other designs.

Vengeance is one of my modern styled designs, and probably by far the most capable in a meta sense. She's no Singularity, but I think she's pretty good for the tech and cheese level I've set my fleet in.

Vengeance is a frontsider, featuring two 150mm 240rpm Frag guns on her bow, plus a pair of wing-mounted 100mm 90rpm APS and an aft 100mm 180rpm APS, with the latter guns intended largely for AA. The frag guns are quite powerful and can do a good job of stripping off any part of an enemy above the waterline. Vengeance also features a pair of torpedoes and a pair of depth charges, with a sonar buoy to go with them, making her my only ASW airship at the moment. She'll frontside ships at around 1200m, strafing side to side as she does so. Against aircraft or subs, Vengeance will rush them down to get her AA and ASW weapons to their optimal range. She also has smoke to protect herself from lasers. Some simple AA guns round off her armament. She also has decoys to protect herself from most missiles.

She is by no means a "meta" craft, and should not be treated as such, but she was built with extra attention to functionality in her role and capabilities, so she can often punch above her weight as long as the enemy does not hard counter her, such as with strong evasion, very fast speed, or strong PACs or certain APS types. She doesn't handle HEAT and HESH well, and her two main guns can be disabled by such and other weapons more often than I'd like. Overall, though, I quite like her. She should be able to defeat any OW and DWG vehicles as long as they don'y use too strong of missiles or APS or silly evasion. *cough* Stronghold and Tarpon *cough*

I have to give credit to 𝕰 𝖝 𝖎 𝖘 𝖙 𝖊 𝖓 𝖈 𝖊 for taking these screenshots for me. He did a phenomenal job with it. Also keep in mind that the colors and reflections and overall appearance of my airships will vary significantly based on your graphics settings, so feel free to mess with your settings and the paint colors until you get them to look how you like.
