Description
Difficulty: Hard

TO KNOW BEFORE PLAYING:

- This puzzle features "Jailbars". They allow players to shoot portals and go through, but block cubes. Making a cube go through them is unintended.

- Solution is clean and logical. No difficult moves to perform, no cube tossing/passing, no glitches and no tight timing. If something feels unintended, it most likely is.

- 6/27/2022 Demise has officially been reworked. It now features a deeper and cleaner logical path, difficulty is set to Hard. If you played this puzzle before, we are sure you will still enjoy this. And if you've never played it, good luck.

Excellent puzzle that I managed to solve in a single day—after nearly 4 and a half hours. Quite possibly my new favourite co-op map. My solution differs from the intended in two notable ways: I skipped the (imo awkward) timing move at ~2:50 in your video, and I did not need to block the laser like at 5:10 in your video. I prefer my way of getting the cube out of its spawn area as it doesn't involve any timing whatsoever and feels cleaner, but in regards to the second difference I think the intended method is more interesting. Overall rather minor differences that did not impact my thoughts on the map. Faved :love_seagull:

@Gerald1p- I very much agree with your criticism. There were so many issues we had to take care off, the map maxed its size quite quickly, so we couldn't convey the portal shot you're talking about as clearly as possible. I'm glad you still enjoyed it despite this flaw, congrats on solving it and thanks for playing!

Absolutely stunning logic chain, packed into such simple layout! Not going to lie, this took us somewhere between 5-6 hrs, and even like that, i think, we might have cheesed one of the steps.
A-ha! moment for us was that it was possible to shoot the bridge-deactivating portal from the very end of the bridge which, honestly, felt sorta underwhelming, id even say, border-line frustrating, from the point that instead of being something we did not think of, it was something we did not notice. Other than that, this was probably the best maps I've ever played in terms of how enjoyable it was for its difficulty. Thank you for making this!

Just played through this again in splitscreen solo in a clean manner to fully comprehend the entire logic around it. It's insane that this works. Thanks for keeping Mattchew and myself busy for around 4 hours ;p

@Benzolamps That's understandable, I still commend you both for giving it a proper try. If you ever need hints or anything, you can let me know. There's also a video solution in case you want to peak at any point of the solution. Cheers!
