Armor Status Indicator

Description
Introduction
This addon provides audio and graphical indication for players to know whether their target's armor / suit is still usable or has been broken / depleted. UPDATE: In addition, indication for user is also included!

WORKS WITH ALMOST EVERY SWEPS. SHOULD ANY OF THEM THAT DOES NOT WORK, LEAVE YOUR NOTICE BELOW! CHECK FOR LIST OF INCOMPATIBLE ADDONS IN THE ACKNOWLEDGED ISSUES SECTION.

When first using the addon, remember to set the styles to your preference! The addon is enabled by default but without style! it randomly picks a style for you!

Acknowledged Issues
  • List of known incompatible addons:
  • Addon does not properly save user's settings. (Resolved)
  • Addon does not load user's saved settings on map load. (Resolved)
  • If player does damage to themselves (such as throwing a molotov cocktail on their feet), the target armor hit indicator will still inform. This should not be occuring. (Resolved)
  • Damage from explosions trigger player break indicator despite player still plenty of much armor left. (Resolved)
  • PERMANENT: Sometimes, Target Armor Hit and Break Indicators will trigger in parallel. This has something to do with Penetration mechanism of your selected addon. Unfortunately, this is out of my power as it solely depends on the SWEP addon you are using. (Modern Warfare Base is also affected. You can try to reduce it by running this CVar of the addon).

The entire screen flash was never really meant to be the final product, I even planned on making the break FX corresponding to the style you chose. But at the time, works have been stressful so I don't have much time for updating my addon.

I will consider your idea in the future. Thx again btw :balloon:

just as an idea, for the armor break FX why not make it only flash the corners of the screen instead of the entire screen

They don't, so it only works by inflicting damage on players.

Im using it in single player and when any npc depletes it fully it does not do anything
