Lore: Not much is known about Agarans - they can hardly speak English, so their history has gone entirely unwritten. They do, however, seem to have developed economies in their villages, with chefs selling meals to guards and travelers. They are rarely ever seen outside of environments that have an abundance of mushrooms, which they utilize in all of their dishes. Early in Starbound's development, they were intended to be a major enemy faction that threatened to take over the universe. This role was partially given to the Floran race instead, leaving Agarans to be simple hunter-gatherers that, despite being somewhat xenophobic, will usually only attack people in retaliation."
