Yummy Meat Slop

This mod allows you to craft one giant portion of raw meat slop from 100 units of raw meat. This makes it possible to heal carnivores and feed daeodons faster than holding the button to force feed them individual items over several minutes.

There are other "dino healing" mods out there, but I felt like they had such a large impact on the game balance (i.e. felt like cheating) that discouraged me from having them installed on our servers.

"Yummy Pig Slop" aims to mitigate the boredom of healing dinos between big fights (or when you level them up on health) while staying as close as possible to vanilla.

Slops spoil very quickly, therefore it's not made to be prepared beforehand. It must crafted on the spot and used immediately.

Also, it's not meant to make fights easier, and for that reason, you cannot use it while riding your dino.


To craft meat slops, you need to build and place an endothermic campfire. It is available at level 38, costs zero points to learn, but requires that you know the vanilla campfire engram.

Endothermic campfires require AnglerGel to fuel. It does not run on any other kind of fuel.

Paradoxically, endothermic campfires absorb heat making you cool instead of hot.

You can build endothermic campfires anywhere, even in caves. To counter the fact that a silly person could use campfires to block access to important points in PvE, endothermic campfires can be demolished by anyone, including members of non-allied tribes.
