Certainly possible to win, but I did all of the above and unfortunately they targeted my weapon system first before I could charge up my pegasus launcher.

Plz don t get me wrong, don t wanna bully any1. Jumping away, perhaps more then once, just lets u leak scrap/loot wich makes the run harder of course.

That fight is a really thoug one, no question. RNG could maybe beat you, but it should be possible 2 win in 80ish%. Pop out defense drone to deal with asteroids, target weapons with rockets. If you leave it like that, 25 rockets alone would destroy the hull or all 3 enemy crew members who try to repair. If you get a chance to switch without enemy weapons powering up, switch to shiellds of course. Maybe you can switch then to your beam/charge combo, or u ve already won ;)

Sadly, even if I had fuel I couldn't have escaped, keep in mind this is the first fight of sector 3, in a 1 shield ship in an asteroid against a 3 shield ship with an ion blast mk 2 and a heavy laser.

I certainly made some mistakes leading up to this moment but I don't think I could've broken through this guy.

Try and get enough fuel to get you through 8 or so jumps before leaving a sector. That was a fight you need to jump from since you where no match.

That kind of jump you survive with Pegasus and 25 Rockets left
