Description
This addon contains a small selection of ships from the "X4" era of Egosoft's X videogame series: X Rebirth and X⁴ Foundations.

If you like this, check out the other X-themed addons in the collection linked above!

Features
  • All objects are scaled accordingly to game files.
  • All ships have engine effects, and use the SFX from the games.
  • ➥ Jumpdrives are included for XR ships, they are cyan orbs of light that will light up while in warp flight and play a looped version of the dynamo-like charging sound.
  • Ships have the their acceleration value boosted by the average Travel Mode speed multiplier of their size class in X4 (see below), to make interplanetary travel less tedious.
  • SpaceEngine's ship classes are co-opted to represent the size classification, since at the moment they have no gameplay effect:
  • ➥ Probes = XS = Drones (no acceleration boost)
  • ➥ Shuttles = S = Fighters (x15 acceleration)
  • ➥ Planetships = M = Corvettes, Frigates, Gunships (x10 acceleration)
  • ➥ Starships = L and XL = Capital ships (x25 acceleration)
  • Full interior for the Albion Skunk, bridges for X4 ships, and visible landing pads for XR capital ships
  • You're free to request other ships to be added in future, including DLC ones!

@Man, no I do not have that particular issue. In what context are you trying to spawn it? (e.g. in a very low orbit?)

when i spawn the Albion Skunk, it just ends up in the middle of the sun all the time when i spawn it. Anyone who knows why?
