Night Owl
Sitting in the quiet light of the Autumn moon
I know I won’t sleep tonight
Dreaming with my eyes open
Days going by like falling leaves
All I ever wanted was a road without end
The wind blows against the sky
My nightmares appear without notice
Confronting me in the dead of night
Living in my head. When will I wake?
It was late at night. I blinked
I lost something a while ago passing through
Thinking it was a dream. It was only a nightmare
