ABOUT THE CLAYMORE MODEL MK 2:

During the fights against the CDF in the system, and with the need of more possible new cruisers to face against the enemy and their overwhelming numbers, the Claymore project was started. The original prototypes, including the Mk I, were rated well although they showed a few notable design flaws that with the more streamlined mark 2 the designers hoped to fix.
