Pulse MkI - Moored Naval Mine

Description
Pulse MkI
The Pulse MkI is a moored naval mine. I had the idea to create this mine after seeing Tumble Trash's video where he blew up a submarine using depth charges. It is not based on any specific mine but I did get some inspiration from google images. I tried to make the mine as tamper-proof as possible, whilst still allowing for mine-sweeping and clearing operations.

DISCONNECTING THE MINE FROM THE BASE WILL NOT DISARM IT. When disconnecting the mine from the base, the light will turn off because it will be disconnected from the battery, but the mine keeps the arming state in its memory. The mine recieves a composite signal through the cable. The base of the mine will use composite channel 1 to send an arming signal to the mine. To disarm the mine, send an ON signal through composite channel 2. This channel is used by the mine to be disarmed.

How to Use the Mine
To activate the mine, the ARM key need to be activated and the mine needs to be underwater. This was done as a safety measure so you can't accidentally blow up the mine while it is still in your ship / plane / whatever you lay it with. The mine altitude needs to be a negative number. 5 seconds after the arm key has been activated and altitude safety has been disabled, the mine will release from its base, and float to its desired depth. 5 seconds later, the mine will recieve the arm signal from the base. From then on, it can only be disarmed by sending an ON signal through composite channel 2 (using the code), or by blowing it up).

Ways to Disable the Mine
  1. To disable the mine or change its altitude, type the disarm code in the therefor assigned keypad. The default code is 1234, but this can be changed through the microcontrollers properties. If you want to rearm it, just change the code to any number you like.
  2. Disconnect the mine from the base and send an ON signal through composite channel 2. This will disarm the mine.
  3. You can always disable the mine by blowing it up. Watch out for yourself and your ship though.

You can use and/or edit this mine however you like. You do not HAVE to credit me or this page when uploading a creation using this mine, but I would really appreciate it if you did.
