K-149 special mission submarine [OUTDATED]

K-149 ("Ukrainian Komsomolets", KS-149, BS-149) is a nuclear cruising submarine of the USSR Navy Project 658 with ballistic missiles (SSBN).
The purpose of the K-149 nuclear submarine was considered to be a nuclear missile strike on the bases of the navy of a likely enemy, ports, industrial and administrative centers located both on the coast and deep into enemy territory.
While the planned series of eight nuclear submarines of Project 658 was under construction, a new D-4 missile system with R-21 ballistic missiles was developed and put into service. The upgraded version of the boats was named Project 685M.
It was decided to send submarines for modernization to the 685M project, armed with new missiles. The K-149 submarine also underwent modernization under the 658M project. In addition to installing a new missile system, the navigational armament was also significantly modernized: the newest navigation system was installed.

However, after the OSV-1 treaty signed in 1977, missile weapons from Project 658 boats were to be removed.
The missile silos have been removed and submarine was engaged in testing new non-acoustic detection systems.

To carry out research programs, the boat received numerous racks, "navarysh" in the area of the bow superstructure and the cabin fence, the so-called "suitcases" in the area of 3 and 4 compartments, sideways, below the waterline. They housed equipment and remote sensors. The fourth (former rocket) compartment was completely upgraded for living and scientific.

Go to the 8th compartment and go to the maneuvering room, set the required reactor temperature (250-300°C is recommended).
Wait until the reactors are started and steam production begins

Fill the neutral ballast (500 for the forward tank and 620 for the aft tank).
Set the required depth and enable depth hold

Turn on the sonar in his fence in the central post. Select the target detected by the sonar on the screen and click on it. On the remote control to the right of the steering seat, select the torpedo tube (1-4), open the torpedo tube cover and hold the button "Fire"
